Navigating The Financial Roadblocks For Consultants

Presenter: Michael T. Chabalik, CRPC, Merrill Lynch

This program will address several pillars of running a successful consulting practice from the financial end of things.

Some of these items include understanding the vast difference of being paid 1099 vs. W2 and what things are affected as a result (i.e. financing approval, Social Security, etc.).  And some creative ways to fund retirement accounts for your business, including leveraging what you have accumulated previously from other employment, access to lines of credit depending on your existing assets, ways to fund medical savings accounts, and the power of being organized.  He will end with a much needed piece on generating new business using Linked In which fills one the most important financial pillars- income!

Three Key Learnings The Audience Will Take Away From This Program
  1. How to fund a health savings account tax free with retirement money.
  2. Creative ways to gain access to lines of credit without verifiable income using your current assets.
  3. Various types of retirement plans available to consultants and what they cost you to set up.
  4. Ways to prospect in any business to fill that pipeline.
