RPCN Committees
RPCN has several active committees that perform the work behind the scenes for the organization. The Board of Directors decides on the direction and the strategies that the organization will take, and the committees make it happen.

Description: How You Can Help: Contribute to the fund raising efforts by reaching out to the public, institutions, companies and others for donations. What We Do: We are one of the formal faces of RPCN, often responsible for first impressions. We welcome and engage with guests and new members to understand their interests and assist with connections. We also track attendance and collect event fees... How You Can Help: We need members who can get strangers to open-up about their needs and initiate quality hand-offs to fellow RPCN members. We also need people to collect money at paid events and record accurate attendance. ... What We Do: Getting the word out about RPCN is what the RPCN Marketing Committee is all about. We manage the social media channels for RPCN (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter), public relations, program sheets, and other methods to promote our organization, our events, and meetings... How You Can Help: Use your graphic design skills, public relations skills, social media skills, or uber-organizational abilities to help promote our organization and events. What We Do: The Program Committee focuses primarily on "Learning from the Best" - identifying and inviting inspiring, informative and engaging presenters for the 2nd and 4th Friday RPCN meetings, open to the public... What We Do: The Blogging Committee maintains RPCN's membership blog page. We receive blogs submitted by members, edit them, and post them on the website. How You Can Help: Use your editing skills to format, proofread, and add images to submitted blogs. Assist Webmaster with posting blogs. Encourage members to contribute blogs on a regular basis. What We Do: The Digital Strategy committee creates and maintains a comprehensive and consistent strategy across all digital functions. This includes the website, video, social media, email communications, digital marketing. newsletter, blogging, virtual/hybrid meetings, library (digital aspects), etc. How You Can Help: Conduct independent research, share educated opinions, deliberate issues and solutions, mainly asynchronously through digital platforms, with the occasional virtual meeting as needed. What We Do: The Library Committee focuses on maintaining RPCN’s collection of books. Books can be borrowed by all current members. The catalog of books is located in the Members Only section of the RPCN website. How You Can Help: Check out books for members. Help maintain the collection and process new books. Suggest books to add and remove. Help create a catalog of online resources available to members. How You Benefit: Learn how libraries work. Develop research skills. Feel the thrill of supporting the organization and interacting with meeting attendees.
What We Do: We focus on maximizing the value of membership by engaging with members, implementing strategies for membership growth, and providing a voice of the membership to the Board of Directors. How You Can Help: Share your experiences of RPCN with others who may benefit. Submit articles and other items of interest to create a more vibrant newsletter. Contribute to new ideas to grow and retain membership. Assist with one-off projects or ongoing outreach to new members, potential members, and lapsed members.
