NOTE: This is both a location change and time change from our normal 4th Friday meeting.

With Windows XP support being phased out by Microsoft, everyone should be upgrading to Windows 7. This workshop will discuss upgrade paths for both Windows XP and Vista, including the system requirements and which version of Windows 7 is appropriate for your needs.

Windows 7 presents new functions and features such as Shake, Snap, Snip, and Sticky Notes that make using your computer easier.

Bring your laptop, no matter what version of Windows you have. There is WiFi access available on site.
Barnes & Noble @ RIT opens at 9 a.m. Sorry, no food allowed in the meeting room, although there is a Starbucks in the store. Networking will follow the workshop.
