Bob Manard and Jerry Seward are presenting a free workshop, "Google Your Business", on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 6:30 p.m.  at the Gates Public Library,

In this workshop, we will cover the basics of common Google tools you can use for your business.  We won’t go into too much depth on how to use these free programs but we will offer a few tips for learning each of them quickly.

You may want to bring a laptop or other mobile device if you intend to try out the tools as they are being discussed.

• Check to see how your business info looks when customers search for it on Google.
  
• Add your business to Google Search and Maps.
• Keep info up-to-date for customers searching online.

Google Docs

• Create and simultaneously edit documents with your team (right in your browser).
• Write reports, create joint project proposals, keep track of meeting notes, and much more.
• Edit Microsoft Office documents directly in Drive --  without installing Office.

Google Drive

• Store, sync, and share your files with ease.
• Keep all your work in one place and access your files from any device.

Google Calendar

• Manage your time with integrated online calendars designed for teams.
• Keep track of important events, share your schedule, and create multiple calendars.
