On Thursday, March18, RPCN will conduct a presentation on another aspect of our Enhancing Human Capital series.

Self Actualization

Facilitator: Bob Lewis

Please join us for the next installment of RPCN’s Enhancing Human Capital lunch-n-learn on Thursday, March 18 at 11:30 am via Zoom. Bob Lewis will lead the discussion.

The next Enhancing Human Capitol discussion on March 18 at 11:30 will explore Self-Actualization: the achievement of one’s potential. The ultimate fulfillment. The result of living a life for the greatest goal achievement and personal satisfaction. Is this mainly one’s personal definition or is there more? The term has often been applied to certain high achieving individuals. For example, Leonardo Davinci is often considered a self-actualized person, as was Mother Theresa. Must you be famous to be self-actualized? Our next EHC discussion will explore the considerations suggested by Abraham Maslow when the phrase came into frequent usage in the mid-20th century. People may wonder do you have to be famous to be considered self-actualized? Our next discussion will provide some criteria for understanding this phenomenon. Let’s explore and discover the range of factors that will help us understand.

Self-actualized people accept themselves and others as they are. They tend to lack inhibition and are able to enjoy themselves and their lives free of guilt. 2 Not only do self-actualized people fully accept themselves, they also embrace other people for who they are.

To get more information about EHC, please contact the EHC team at EHC@rochesterconsultants.org or come join us on March 18 at 11:30 via Zoom. The virtual luncheon is free and is open to members and non-members alike, but please register as it will help us with logistics of organizing the Zoom meeting.

The meeting is free but you will have to provide your own lunch.

This series provides an opportunity to explore Dr. Floyd Tucker's "Enhancing Human Capital" program, designed to help businesses build healthy organizations and happy employees.
