Want to expand your network and/or deepen your networking relationships? Speed Networking is a method for you to accomplish these goals, efficiently!

Speed networking is a fun chance to meet lots of peers from diverse business and cultural backgrounds, and start dialogues that can lead to meaningful professional and social connections. It’s also a great, no-pressure opportunity to hone your “elevator speech” and listening skills so you can be prepared for those times when a fast, good first impression is crucial.

RPCN is participating in a speed networking event with the Fairport Chamber of Commerce on May 25. Here are the details:

During the hour event, you will be paired one-on-one with six different participants. At the beginning of the Speed Networking, an explanation of the process will be given during the announcements, by experienced Chamber of Commerce Speed Networking volunteer, Dave Finger, Founder of Computer Gardener. We will also take short 30-second breaks between each one-on-one connection to announce a winner from a random prize drawing. The event will conclude with one final winner drawing and announcements.

Please note: Your commitment to this hour event is necessary for the one-on-one pairing to work productively for all attendees. It is not an event that you can come late and leave early. Please plan to sign on 15 minutes in advance.
