One of the biggest worries in making the leap from employee to starting your own business is understanding what healthcare options are available. This presentation will help you understand many of the options available to you whether you are a sole proprietor or have employees.

• Overview of health insurance options for business owners, with a focus on sole proprietors
• Understanding the NYS Marketplace: How to navigate the Marketplace, including eligibilities for subsidies, financial assistance, or premium tax credits
• How to determine what type of health plan best fits your needs
• Knowing what factors to consider before offering health insurance as an employee benefit.

TIME: 8:00am meeting start; folks that are setting up will be there by around 7:45am. We have the meeting space reserved until 10am, allowing for networking time after the meeting.
