OACES Program:
Engaging Community Partners

Presented by: Brian Kane, Results for Good

Non-profit organizations sometimes act like lone rangers, assuming that they alone have the necessary skills or capacity to address a social problem.   Yet private and government funders are demanding change. Within 5 years, the world of non-profits will have shifted dramatically. It is the rare non-profit organization that possesses all of the skills needed to successfully complete a project or operate a program. Collaboration is increasingly required by funders and practically essential to success. Attend this workshop and gain a new perspective on how to identify and effectively engage the right community partners for you.

A fun and highly interactive session guaranteed to drive the success of non-profit organizations. Expect a combination of lecture, small group discussions and role playing aimed at increasing learning and sharpening skills.

Workshop: 1:00-2:45 PM
Networking: 2:45-3:30 PM
