Join MCFL PTAC Program Director Anna Vulaj Fitzsimmons as she provides an overview of Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) free services, how to do business with the government - Federal, State or Municipal, and government contracting updates... are you ready?

The MCFL PTAC covers the nine-county Finger Lakes Territory. The Procurement Technical Assistance Program is administered by Defense Logistics Agency, and hosted by COMIDA.

Anna Vulaj Fitzsimmons is an expert in the marketing and communications field. She helps businesses hone their marketing plans to fit the government contract arena. The training and direct input she provides PTAC clients has increased  opportunities for businesses to bid on military, federal, state and municipal contracts.

Ms. Vulaj Fitzsimmons has held the position of director for over five years, serving as business development manager prior. Through her collaborative efforts with regional partners, she has successfully led program performance rating to “Outstanding” two years in row by Defense Contract Management Agency. Previously she was the Director of Communications for the Rochester Business Alliance (the regions Chamber of Commerce), she served as the Public Relations Manager at the Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce prior. Anna began her 18 – year career in the communications and marketing industry as a city and business beat radio news reporter/producer at WXXI AM 1370.

She is currently a Department of Defense North East Regional Council Member, Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC) Board Member - Bylaws Committee Chair & Region 2 (DE, NJ & NY) Director, US Small Business Administration Buffalo District Small Business Community Forum Member, numerous boards and committees throughout career. Current certifications include APTAC CCAS, CPP and VA Certified Verification Counselor.

She lives in Irondequoit, NY, with her husband, daughter and German shepherd.
