Google: Get Your Business Online
Presenter: Bob Manard and Jerry Seward
People in the Rochester area are looking for what you offer–and they’re looking online. That’s why we’re teaming
up with Google to host a workshop to help you and your fellow businesses get online and on the map.
Please Note: Before the event, you’ll need to create a Google Account to access the free online tools. If you already have a Google or Gmail Account, you’re all set. Just remember to bring your username and password. If you don’t have a Gmail or Google Account, you can create one for free at:
It would be helpful, but not required, if you brought a laptop to this event.
During the workshop, we can expedite the process of verifying your business on the map (instead of waiting for a pin code). To do this, we’re required to confirm your business address on one of the following documents: utility bill, tax letter, or business registration certificate. The document must be original (not a copy) and it must include the business name and address.
If you don’t have one of these documents, no worries. We can help you setup your listing. However, you will need to take additional actions after the workshop to complete the process.
And that’s it. We look forward to seeing you soon and helping you grow your business,
Three Key Learnings that the participants will learn from Joe's presentation:
- Put your business on the map.
- Help more customers connect with your business on the web.
- Make sure your business shows up online.
