Effective Writing for Your Audience
(Online or In Person)
Presenter: Sandy Glanton
There is so much more to effective writing than just picking a topic and a vehicle (i.e. blog, newspaper article, book) for your writing. You need to know your target audience and how they consume content, their knowledge level, their need for your information, which all impact how effective your message is received. Special attention is needed to grab your reader right at the start and then ending with a focus on the reader, so they feel fulfilled or wanting more. Yes, there is much more to creating blogs and articles than being a subject matter expert. Join us and learn to be an effective and impactful writer!
Key Takeaways:
- What is your topic or purpose for writing?
- Who is your audience?
- What is the best way to present my information to my audience?
